Small update for you guys. I have changed my mind about the GPU, Instead I have opted for 2x Asus DCII 7870 Ghz Editions in Crossfire.
I think it'll look better with the 2 GPU's and I plan on overclocking them both to around 1150 on the core, will play with memory when the time comes.

Stock on those cards are 1010Mhz, I picked up the cards already and did some testing. Stable upto 1180Mhz on the core without touching voltage. After that voltage is needed but I reckon I'll get 1250 out of them.
It is gonna be awesome, did a mock up build just to test parts and it absolutely flies.

1150 Top card 75c at 80% FS @100% it hits around 70c but the noise is deafening.
1150 Bottom card 70c At 80% FS
That's under full load on a very very hot day.
Stock coolers and smaller board so cards are close at the moment.

So i am going to assume u will get aftermarket cooling.
U will never get 1250 with those temps. You will sit close to if not over 100c.
Moreso if you are changing voltages to get there

I'll get 1250 without aftermarket cooling
Aircon + Aircon piping into case + 100% fan speed will give me those clocks. I'll never run those clocks 24/7 but for benching I will do that until I decide to go water cooling with Dwood brackets and some closed loop coolers.

A full watercooling loop works absolute magic. No matter what clock i go on my card. I dont go over 45c.
But not cheap at all. Especially with dollar/rand at the moment

Yeah which is why I will eventually do it. But doing it my way with Dwood brackets and sealed loop coolers.
Will cost much less and provide more than enough cooling.
