Guys I have been out of the GPU line for a while now I still have a gforce gts 250 1gig. PSU is 500W I think or 600W


What is the best GPU atm for R2500-R3000 range?

Radeon HD 7850/7870 these will serve you well and are easily overclocked. Just using the catalyst software I have my 7850 at 1050Mhz.

I think it should last 'til then . I'm more worried for the 7950 I'm looking to get (I have to contact them for availabilty )

I have a cx600 watt power supply I would def suggest going for the powercolor 7950 from wootware pinch out an extra R200 bucks it R3200 and you are going head to head against a 670 which usually cost about 5 grand boet!

I'd still go for the 7870, it's the best bang for buck.

That card is incredible value for money and considering you get the games with it, its a steal bud.
Those cards can do high or ultra setting on any and every game apart from Crysis 3 @1080P So you'll be sorted for quite some time.

I am personally not fond of powercolor but no one can argue with that price.
