The SA Revenue Service says a tape recording in which Sars commissioner Oupa Magashula appears to offer a job to an associate of a convicted drug dealer reveals nothing scandalous, the City Press reported.

"Sars has no reason to doubt the integrity of the Sars commissioner in either his professional or private life," Sars spokesman Adrian Lackay told the Sunday paper.

Uhm what the fck? What kind of logic is that?

How about basing pay on say ability? Or qualifications if you must. But age...what a joke. Or at least make it number of years experience if you want to link it to time.
