ok , im going to take a chance and make this thread.
i have to many games to complete , i love them , but then yet again i love playing other online games as well , such as LoL and blacklight retribution. thinking of splitting in half and do both.
With this i am falling behind on the latest games , and to go thru the story line from the start , ( such as assassins creed , its got like 6 or 7 games out, and i have only played 3) is going to be pain staking... so what should i do.?

Play through the games- get as immersed as you can to have the fullest experience, and by the time you've worked through your back list, the new games you want will be on sale. There's no point rushing through- that's like watching a movie on double speed so that you can check it off your list.

lol but some of them take like a 2 weeks to complete , like some RPG games

Just play what you are currently enjoying the most. You are playing for the enjoyment, not just to complete games for the sake of completing them.

I also have games that I haven't even opened yet that'll keep me busy for weeks or months, yet I still keep playing Lol or CS or Dota. Once in a while I get tired for those and go play something else. You have the games for then:)

Online is a BIG pro for me these days. I won't buy it unless I can play it co-op or online.

I had the same problem last year. I kept playing Diablo III and nothing else. At some point I stopped though which was hard! Now I'm enjoying going through my backlog of games.

Pretty much dealing with the same... I can't play anything else since I started playing Dota 2. Tomb Raider, DmC, Far Cry 3, Guild Wars 2, and a few others, are among a few games that I haven't progressed in since someone lured me into Dota 2

lol welcome to my world

I don't like singleplayer games much, too easy even on the hard difficulties and good story lines are hard to find.

The last singeplayer game i enjoyed thoroughly was Skyrim with all the DLC's and fully modded out (will have to install it again sometimes)

just play what you feel like playing. Its not a duty, you dont HAVE to play and finish games just because you have them.

I love playing through stories though, online multiplayer is not a huge factor for me. I get bored of just ranking up.

Maybe finish school first and study then concentrate on beating the games?

It takes me a couple of days to beat a single player campaign, afterwhich I enjoy multiplayer (if any) and then spend a few hours playing online games

To be honest I would actually stop playing games for a week or so. Don't look at any games, just leave them be.
At the end of that week, the game that screams at you the most play that. Usually a break from a game or gaming can do wonders. Don't think of a game as a must play as said above but rather an enjoyment.
Use that week as time to spend with the loved ones etc because after that week is up you will be so eager to play a game that it could become a pure addiction :)
It is something that I have been doing, I too have so many games to play that I haven't completed yet that I just stopped playing them. The game that screams, "play me, play me now" gets the nod.

lol i have done what you said and , well , Friday and Saturday i did not sleep because i was addicted to the game , ironically it was a game i found boring lmao. thanks for the advice

I am still stuck on Dota 2, all my other games is just there. My kids started playing some of them: GW2 and Tomb Raider....

I gave up all the crap and stuck with my online game (singular). It has enough content and shit to do and I interact with guildies every single day and have a blast. Haven't even played the new Bioshock or Tomb Raider and I love the franchises

So ye, relax with the game you're enjoying at the moment, don't rush it and when it finally comes to an end, move on to the next one. It's not a competition, gaming is supposed to relax you and be fun ;)

I am sitting in exactly the same boat. Besides finding it hard to have time to play games lately in between working loads of overtime, I then tend to play online games only. I just cannot do the single player thing anymore :wtf:
