May 2013 ~ desktop wallpaper :)

You don't want to see my work PC, though. I just save everything on my desktop.

Shortcuts are good. They help make accessing desired programs faster and with more convenience.
Thus, I use start menu and taskbar for shortcut holding. Don't like a cluttered desktop.

Have had this desktop for a while :)

Wow. That's a wonderful wallpaper. Just the sort of thing I like. Nothing to busy if I can.

Never had a HD crash? My IT people don't fix; they format. Since I learnt this hard lesson I have an external drive on which I keep my files. Because I have so many files I have been creating common folders and creating shortcuts for these folders on my desktop. (Just got to back this stuff up once every so often.)

How well do your duel monitors work?

I've tried setting up a single wallpaper for both my monitors but one is smaller and can't handle higher resolutions.

Here is what mine looks like currently:

I got no problems, I'm running 2 23" screens (this is my office setup), don't know how I ever managed to work on just one for 6 years at my previous job...
