Anybody watching any of these "new" series?
- Vegas
- Golden Boy

Any thoughts? I'd like to get some general feedback before investing time in watching these (started on DStv this week).

I'm watching Vegas, enjoyable show, great actors. It's kinda like a 60s version CSI Vegas with some Mafia battles going on as the Vegas Casino world was growing back in those times. Each episode tends to be a bit of a "murder case" with the overarching mafia/casino/sheriff innuendo. If you don't like that Cowboy Sheriff vs. Mafia Casino Boss theme, you probably won't like this.

It's got a nice combination of crime, drama and humour. Not as dramatic and serious as something as say Boardwalk Empire .

I also believe it's based (or inspired by) historic events.

Cool, thanks. I'll give it a go then.

I think I might try Golden Boy in any case. I kinda like cop shows.

so CBS cancels Rules of Engagement but keeps Mike and dumbass Molly. NBS cancels 1600 Penn and Go On, but renews brain dead shit like Biggest Loser, The Sing Off and The Voice.... what is wrong with the bloody 'mericans???

Pity, I was kinda interested to see in where Touch was going. It was one of those shows like Burn Notice and 30 Rock... I'm never in the mood to watch it, but I'm glad when I do. Also liked Go On... Matthew Perry was my favourite actor from Friends so it was nice to see him again in a good show.

I'm ok with CSI:NY... I was more a fan of CSI:Miami. They should have never cancelled that. It was one of the few shows that actually got better each season... well, that and CSI with Ted Danson.

Fringe wasn't so much cancelled, but rather finished and Partners was cancelled some time back already.

The Job... heard about it for the first time last night while watching old episodes of Colbert Report while he was poking fun it. Just started and already cancelled :)

All and all, not too much damage this year.

the Arrow season finale was AMAZEBALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
