Starcraft 2

I like to play all by myself most of the time. Not good with groups.

Didnt your mother ever tell you to learn to play with others and to stop playing with yourself :D

I am also mostly a solo player but once in a while I like group play.

Then we should make our own personal clan for fun

I like. I play often on my own (don't you go there now), but enjoy some games with people of the same outlook. If I lose, I don't want to stress about it. Just get on with the next game. I appreciate constructive criticism like I got from TT.

Always a pleasure :)

I would join clan that more interested in fun rather than just winning.

There's a Clan called [OhNoes], SA players. Seems like they're just about having fun. But all the other clans do have members that play for fun. Our Team games are extremely fun

I usually play unranked so losing doesnt really matter to me but I usually learn what to do the next game.

Not a fan of people do reaper rush and destroying my probes before I can do many cannons so sticking to unranked till I can figure out what to do against them.

The idea is not to kill them, but to not take damage. They're bad at killing buildings. I'm not sure if zealots hold them off well. But you can kill them with 5 probes. (Good micro to practice)

(I'm Zerg, and I just hold them off with a Queen)
Just keep the probes alive with some micro. So move them through your other probes as they take damage. And with some luck, it will give you the chance to surround them with probes and kill them off.

Zealots are useless against them, but a Stalker can kill them quite easily and a mothership core can also help a lot.

Either way, it takes practice. Just like holding a 6 pool takes practice, but once you've got it, it's like riding a bike.

Anyway, do any of you know a high ranked Terran that can Mech against Zerg?
VnR only has 3 Terrans, and they're all bio.

I really need to practice a few builds against it.

You're probably the highest ranking player in this thread and you're asking us for advice? :p

I use warps a lot but its to get enough gas to research and to make stalkers that is the problem while keeping minerals up enough.

Usually takes me 3-4 mins to make gateway so end up 7-8 mins for a stalker if I remember right once the cybernetics core is made.

Sorry I see my image link wasn't working, I fixed it now. It wasn't aimed at you.

oh ok just seemed so close to what I was asking so just guessed you were talking to me after not seeing any pictures :D

But do you have an answer to my question about how to get the buildings up fast and stalkers out quickly for reapers without having to put cannons everywhere?

Still want to do some Desert Strike HOTS with guys from here and not randoms ( god they annoy the shit out of me ) enjoy building units to counter etc, its also good practice i guess.

Who is keen to play some tonight?

Yeah, not building a forge would help.

I don't know the exact timings, but you build your first pylon when you have 9 probes, then build 3 more probes then build the gateway and as soon as you can afford it build an assimilator as well and put 3 probes in gas as soon as it's done, you should also warp in another pylon while the assimilator is warping in.

Build a cybernetics core immediately after your gateway finishes. If you do it right you will have exactly enough gas (100) to build a stalker and start warpgate research at the exact time that the cybernetics core is built. You have to keep making probes the whole time as well.

Hope that makes sense.
