DPI Whats your Poison

With my current mouse, a Prestigio cheapie, its 800 on the desktop, 1600 for gaming. I'm moving up to the Sensei RAW soon, and will be doing 1600 in Windows and 3200 in games. 3200DPI and lower sensitivity settings for the games means tracking is uber, uber-smooth.

3500 and 1920x1860. I set it to 3500 dpi when I installed the drivers. Never actually needed to change it.

x1860?! o,0

Second time I'm seeing the sensei raw being mentioned. Where could I test one? Need a mouse for the laptop.

The RAW's better for desktop use, its quite big and decently weighted. The cable is also braided and makes it a bit difficult to bend. If you want a decent lappie mouse:

Logitech M510 @ R451

My favourite so far, oddly enough, is this one:

Razer Orichi @ R747

I liked the Orochi in a mobile context and its a very good mouse - better built than a lot of Razer products I've seen.

1800 dpi

There was a BF3 video a while back on how to completely remove mouse acceleration from your PC so you have pure raw input and minimal input lag because accuracy is king in BF3.

It seems that even if you turn it off it's still on to some extent so there are some scripts available to completely remove it.

2400 @ 1920x1200 with my Sensei RAW. And I have a button to change the DPI to 400 if I need to snipe or create fine art in MS Paint.

Ah thanks will check those out :)

2000 DPI for all purpose, 1600 DPI for FPS sniping @ 1920x1080

Does anyone use the G500's 6000DPI?
A flick of your wrist and you've done a 180+ degree turn O_o
