Warframe: Official Thread

Well Im gonna make the one bow soon, just need a few more mats, also got the blueprint for the furis pistol. I do want the duel swords as well, I just need to save up to buy it :P
 
I have the Bow also... (yes I have crafted a lot ;P ) its very nice, bit slow for some maps but very powerful. It is a lot of fun to peg mobs against the walls tho :D
 
Hehehe I am just tempted by it :P I have a habit of picking weird things and loving it. Maybe you can set up a nice list of where to use what :P

The ethers do bonus damage to infested (triple i think) and are nice and fast. With mods they are insane. Zorens are VERY fast with higher crit chance. Add a maxed stun mod on those and 2 people can actually stun-lock a boss for most (if not all) the fight. Myself andlordhi have tested this and it worked very well. Im told the heat blades are also good against Infested, but nothing comes close to my Dual ether swords! Those rock. My new favorite secondary weapons are the Akunai! They do sill damage, and you dont really run out of ammo. The fire rate is nice so is more controlled...

As for rifles...the Boltor is insane damage, with right mods it rocks. But for boss fights the Gorgon is the best...sustained dps, and mods give it a nice LARGE clip size and ammo count. Both are really good at melting shields as well with Frost mods on.

I recently bought myself a Latron which is rank 16 now but my Lato Vandal is still my go-to gun, that thing OWNS. then it seems I'll be replacing the Cronus with Dual Zorens soon :D
 
Well basically if you gonna play support role and stay at back of group Bow or sniper is awsome. Im always in think of things so fast firing with lotsa bullets for me lol :) Unsane is currently leveling the Sniper rifle. We found a mod as well last week that allows for zoom on rifles, so that on bow is amazing...but also for rifles like Boltor. For boltor we found fire speed mod actually makes darts travel faster as well...awsomeness! We would like sometimes to try a full stealth run,ie: not get detected for whole run so these weapons play a role here..

Raid missions etc are ok for those type of weapons, but defense you gonna want fast weapons. You will quickly find out. The long range weapons are very nice for support frames like trinity on boss fights. Can snipe mobs that run around edges of boss fights and you can stay far away from fights to easily be able to support safely. Trinity is an awsome support frame. Has map wide heal to full for whole group, and the shield, health or energy buffs are insane! Unsane has a trinity and makes boss fights really easy

Bwahahahaha Bane! Ok I call dibs on running for the two pieces I need for the trinity frame as well as the mats - I wanna be able to play a decent support role!

My Excalibur is better with run into the middle of the fight and fuck everything up :D
 
Only bad thing about Gorgon is its account lvl locked. I built boltor while leveling account and loves it. It also pegs enemies to walls...awsome after a hard days work :D Which one is Lato again? The pistol? If so then yes it pawns...just a bit slow fire rate for me. Try akunai...you will love! I headshot most mobs, and its actaully very good at killing heavily armed mobs and Ancients!

Yup. Sampling the necessary items for the VAUBAN is insane. Drops are so damn rare for that Wf. I just need the ASH helmet before I can start with its build. Ma nee! I keep getting the damn chassis as a drop! :mad:

I love my SARYN, don't get me wrong, but I want to replace my EMBER with ASH. I'll see how it goes.

Yes the excaliber is awsome at that lol, it was my starter frame!

Lol no probs, i just wanna complete mine..lilke collecting frames lol :D Busy with saryn(in oven), Banshee is unranked, will farm for Nyx next, and waiting for last BP of vauban. That frame just look sooo much fun!

Ps: We should really run some Void missions, we always wait for a full grp so if a forma BP drops we all get it, maximise forma production. We also need to farm for more void keys, so defense missions. Thats also the best way to level you frames btw....come tag along in endless defense missions, ranks frames and weapons uber fast :D

yeah the bloody parts only drop on "?" reward alert missions, which happens almost never! :mad:

that bloody Vauban better be worth the effort....

Where'd you get that from? We played the game all weekend and not one key drop for any of us, the drop rate is just way too low imo.
 
lol I got 5 keys I think,,, one is a t3 also! ;) We normally take turns to use our keys. really need to farm def missions to try get some more... I got one from login, but I also bought a pack, and you are guarenteed a rare if you buy a key pack.

So its sorted then...we gonna do some boss runs tonight, and see if we can get some Void missions in as well! Hope everybody will be in TS :D
