I'd recommend buying something else.

Took me a good few days to sample together the resources to build it - only to be massively disappointed by it.:mad:

Mag Cap. = 90 [√]
Dam. Over Time = fine [√]
Dam. Over Great Distance = DREADFUL[√]

So far, the best gun I've used will have to be the LATRON. Sure, it's got a 15 round cap, but, given the right mods - it's very useful. On of the best guns in the game! FACT!

Using the HEK now, seems alright. Only downside is its 4 round cap mag. very damaging up close - for obvious reasons.

Im working on frost prime, but its only from Void missions. Normal frost works well for the rest :D I only have 2 of my Frost skills equipped, the bubble and the frost line attack for those rows of enemies! Rest are not that useful, rather have other mods on. And i think the frost prime parts only drop off T2 and T3 Void missions. :( You already have the BP tho from our runs last night :) So now we need T2 and T3 keys to get parts.

yeah saw the BP for Prime drops in T3 voids... maybe run one of those tonight to get it :D

Yeah I'm using the Latron now mostly, and I got a mod for the clip shortage
 
I'm using the Grakata and even though it chews through ammo, it's a proper beast of a gun when modded. I don't see myself replacing it any time soon, if ever. :eek:

Lol, its does horrible accuracy over long distance, mostly, however its never meant to be long range gun :P but its awsome as a boss tanker for sustained dps. I have inc ammop mods in and it works perfectly. HOWEVER, if you fire one shot at a time, and wait a sec or 2 before next one...you can actually snipe with gorgon...obviously this is not how it was designed tho. If you like sniping / long range get bow or sniper. Problem in most high lvl mission, especialy when solo they never stay far for long, and you get swamped with CQB and a long range gun. This is where the gorgon and hek shine. But i agree the 4 magazine clip sux....not even worth modding as it has almost no effect.
I use gorgon on boss fights, cause with frost and elec dmg mods it melts shields and kills quickly. Ask Malice ;) But it does take some time to get the gun to shine like so. I tried the other rifle, that is forced to like 3 shot bursts and found it very frustrating when swamped...very in-efficient.(cant remeber the name) Boltor and Gorgon and definatly my favourites, but they are obviously best maxed. The boltor is very good from early ont ho..but its expsnive in Alloys to build :(

I have that BP, but not crafted yet...in two minds. It works very well for frames like Trinity where you het HP, SHield or Energy back from mobs with skills. But the ammo issue bothers me. Sisince i have modded my gorgons ammo and clip size I have never run out of ammo again even in a boss run /fight. Unsane also likes the grakata, but prefers the Gorgons i believe (speak under correction) last we spoke. Both have pro's and cons. My gorgons clip size is currently 113 (mod not maxed) and ammo count around 700 (mod is maxed i think) whenever Unsane uses Grakata he loves the dps it puts out, but runs outta ammo long before end of missin. I think gorgon also does more base damage that grakata.....eish...dunno. My gorgon loves me and I love him, especially for boss runs :) Maybe just works for my play style. Currently I do more killing with my Kunai (now maxed) and I save gorgons for large mob grps or bosses. But thats maybe cause I like to get close and personal with enemies :D

that's when I implement my "I'm on a box mofo!" strategy (mainly with infestation missions)

Yeah I just always keep myself stocked with ammo boxes, I typically only need to use one per mission, but they are cheap so it's not a big deal.

I'm using the gun on Frost (which I love to play btw :D) and the ice wave ability saves me a lot of ammo, as long as I don't steal the Mag's ulti kills. :p

We have never actually pushed to see how far we can go, however myself and lordhi have duo 'd up to lvl 20 no probs. I have on frost he was on Ashe. We were actually saying the other night we wanna see how far we can get. Someone on warframe forums has maxed at lvl 80 :confused: only to get a serration mod ..LOL...hence why we have not been toooo bothered to try push. HOwever now with new mods, may be worth while trying to see if drops rates scales with difficulty.

They should properly reward players for finishing higher levels. They NEED to work on that. Higher the level, greater the reward if finished.

Single-handedly, I can do 5. My Sentinel is a great help! Like having another soldier on the field.
 
Hmmmmmm it looked like you where online when I went home for lunch, or at least that is what raptr said :P

Now I can probably handle up to lvl 5 on my own. back when I played one of those the last time my frame was still noob and playing with 3 other noobs :D
