Oh well, 18th place isn't bad considering I only joined a week ago. I didn't win, but I'll always be a PC gamer at heart anyway. Congrats for winning InSanity. :)

Grats to InSanity and those that figured out how to best game the system in the last few days~
Those are some pretty insane point jumps that occurred.
 
Unfortunately I'm grossly averse to what I feel amounts to shitposting by way of one-liners - don't much enjoy using forums as 'chatrooms'. I also don't particularly enjoy making pointless posts in threads that don't actually interest me purely for the sake of trying to garner the brownie-points necessary to stand a chance of winning something, the way some people seem to be willing to do. I have standards, see? :P

Same issue as with Nanonymus, current thread would have been more appropriate. This is pretty much the necro-posting/ spam comment that everyone is talking about.

I do not take kindly to people posting open messages that address everyone, where they use my name in a form that might not actually be referring to me, and instead referring to some imaginary entity or someone else entirely that I've simply not noticed somehow on account of a lack of quotes and direct name usage.

Not necessarily. Ike_009 is just on a mission to be a hypocrite while calling others hypocrites here. Everyone should post how he believes they should post, otherwise they'll be threatened with being reported.

He began his crap with me because he believes I should have instead taken my reply to Ichigo to the new thread despite Ichigo addressing me in this thread, which is more pointless to me than his obsessive need for people to use quotes so he doesn't need to comprehend contextual cues and desire for me to do so in a thread that isn't any more appropriate than the one in which I elect to respond.

There are five threads in the entire forum category. It's not like 'necroing' this thread is going to bump the currently-active competition threads off of that only page, and it's not like it's not obvious this thread's competition isn't even active anymore thanks to the blaring "*WINNER ANNOUNCED*" right there in the topic. Until the thread is locked it's a perfectly valid platform for continuing a conversation as opposed to moving everyone over to another room for the purpose.

Oh, and Ike_009, there's not only one thread to which I could have taken my reply to Ichigo, there are two threads for competitions that are both active that both use the same rules, so which one should I have taken my reply to, oh sage of the desert?
You had better go and deduct rep from Avatar, InSanity and Uegene now, as well. They should have done as you've told me to do and not 'spam'/continue the necro of this thread, and instead taken it to one of the new threads.
