From all the reveals of E3 so far I am personally the most excited for The Witcher 3 and Mirrors Edge 2, been waiting foreeever for a sequel. Watch Dogs also looks pretty good.

Ohohoh, and how could I forget Star Wars: Battlefront

As I expected, the gameplay footage of the new Thief game shows that it is anything BUT a Thief game. As a new IP it might have been good, but it's like the developers took everything that Thief fans didn't want to see in a Thief sequel, made a checklist of it and then put it in the game.

Bastards.

Agreed. Didn't think of it like that until now.

What excited me about E3 were all the new games (obviously) and to see just how far technology has come.

Ryse - Son of Rome was quite mind-blowing for me.
Mirror's Edge 2 was unexpected.
Titanfall was definitely a pleasant surprise.
Destiny was also very pleasantly surprising.

The fact that Mirror's Edge 2 is a reboot and not a sequel has me very worried.

Yeah it's kinda similar to what you said about Thief. A new entry into the series but is it something worthy of the name? The focus on combat bits for Mirror's Edge 2 kinda put me off...it's really not what Mirror's Edge is about in my mind.

I liked that they focused entirely on hand-to-hand combat in the trailer and not guns, but I didn't like that trailer focused exclusively on combat and not parkour. The game is ultimately about the parkour, so that should have been the main focus of the trailer.

As for what bothers me about the reboot, I just don't see the reason for one. Mirror's Edge is a franchise currently containing a single game that is less than four years old, so it is very strange that they want to reboot it. If they've decided to reboot it because they don't know how to continue Faith's story, they could simply have created a new protagonist entirely. So that leaves only one logical reason I can see for them to want to reboot instead of continue the series. I suspect they're making pretty major alterations to the game itself, and these alterations wouldn't fit in with the the gameplay and story already established in the original game.

Now that's just guesswork on my part, but I can't really think of any other reason why DICE would choose to reboot the series entirely instead of just making a sequel that is either loosely related or unrelated to the original game.

I just really hope this game turns out good. :(

OMW the division looks AMAZING :D The new splinter cell looks decent too. Pretty excited for C&C generals.

Also, where the fuck is Rainbow six patriots? :(

So far, I'm most excited about Ryse, Titanfall, Forza 5 (what can I say, I love racing games), Mario Cart 8, Star Wars Battlefront and Watchdog.

Destiny and The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot looks bloody awesome. Destiny alone sold me on the PS4. Mad Max could be fun as well if it is anything like Just Cause.

Need for Speed Rivals and The Crew looks good as well.

Need for speed ALWAYS looks good. Then they give us flaming shit on our doorstep once it's released. I'm hoping its like hot pursuit which was their best need for speed in AGES.

@Saint thanks for the news... Hope they don't can it. :(
