So tired of endless forum arguments that ultimately lead nowhere. I try to avoid them and before I know it I'm sucked right back into a long, tiresome argument where neither side refuses to budge, things turn ugly and everyone just leaves angry.

Avoid commenting on posts. That's a start to avoiding pointless arguments.
Once you post something, it's left open to interpretation. Some may post on your comment, and their insightful views may lead you into commenting in return, whereby, obviously starting debates, if not, arguments.
 
I don't mind having debates at all. It's the senseless ones that ultimately lead nowhere and accomplish nothing other than to anger everyone who participates that bothers me.
 
The fact that you think the argument is no longer relevant shows how magnificently you missed the entire point of what I was trying to say. Regardless, if you wish to continue the argument, please keep it contained to the thread in which it is relevant. I was merely expressing how tired I am of senseless forum arguments that ultimately lead nowhere, not expressing a desire to let the petty argument spill over into TK.

I'm of the opinion that many design decisions in Diablo 3 came about directly as a result of the existence of the AH. nanonyous is of the opinion that the AH has no effect on the game. Clash of opinion, really.

Some people liked it, some didn't. I'm actually one of those who enjoyed it a great deal, though I will acknowledge that it had some major flaws. It's all about opinion though, and arguing about whether something is enjoyable or not is like arguing about whether blue is a better colour than red.
