As far as I know the account that did the betting and the account that received the money was two different ones completely. I am not saying he doesn't have 2 accounts/someone is betting for him, but it does seem a bit odd.
I agree that it is completely disgraceful, and should he be guilty he deserves the ban. It is a bit bad that the entire team is being punished for what could be potentially one bad seed though...

Sounds fishy, but I guess everything is possible and this is probably easily done as well.

Dreamhack final game 3 was just epic!
Started a new account to improve my win ratio (now that I have gotten the hang of the game since the move from LoL). I've found that playing on the SE Asia server has greatly improved my game, even at the lower level bracket. Oh, and there aren't any Russians.

Still playing on my original account with around 50% win loss.
Played probably one of the the most fun games ever last night. We had all our towers down and they were pushing to rax. We have only taken 1 tower I think, maybe none. The suddenly we click into gear and get the initiation and team fight ulti working properly. We asked the Medusa to farm a rapier. The we could start to push back. I was playing Tusk and initiated the fights with the snowball. The the tide would Ulti and then the Medusa and to top it the Venomancer, by that time 4 of their heroes would be dead. We managed to push all their towers but instead of regrouping the Tide and the Medusa with the Rapier pushed too deep and Medusa lost the rapier.... Bu tthat time I called gg. The Kunkka on the opposing side took the rapier and the managed to rax 2 of our barracks(Top and mid) then they loose the team fight to finish the game Kunkka looses the rapier (lol our Tide picked it up) and we push back to finish and win the game. With a Tidehunter rapier. 68 min of stress. Was the most fun I ever had in Dota.

Cant see how you guys won it with those items on BS, kunka tank and sniper. well played
Game would have been different if they just went for BKBs. I imagine tusk stunned so much or at least disrupted the gameplay for enemy. Poor BS, doesnt help you have all the damage and stunned for most part of the team fight.
Veno was farm like hell, geez. Dem items
Mask of Madness is my favorite on sniper, mini stun a hero so much, you have to look at your ping / fps to make sure your not the one lagging

Ye, you need to watch the replay to fully understand how we won. It was mainly the slows and ultis from teamfights.(we had far superior team fight initiations) I was Tusk so in the team fight all I did was to take BS or Axe out. Although I died most of the times and he manage to pick kills from all over the map. Most epic game I ever played in.
If they all built BKB's we would have lost.
That veno played really well.

Yep Venom had insane items. LOL at mini stun and ping! I now live by the rule, if someone in the opponents team pick Sniper/Drow I pick Riki or Slark, just counters the hell out of them

Good to hear. I loved the first Dota so much, and after playing a bit of Dota 2 on a friends laptop, I can't wait to get my own PC fired up.

That game I described last night the Shadow Fiend we played with was level 1 or 2. So we still won its probably better to play with guys you know when you start of with and watch some Learn to play dota vids by Purge on youtube. http://www.purgegamers.com/welcome-to-dota-you-suck
Just beware the game has quite a learning curve. I am level 40 odd and still cannot play all the heroes....
Im hoping my experience with LoL has at least helped, but ya fun times

You're actually coming into this with the advantage of having played the OG DotA. DotA 2 should be much easier to get into than it was for me when I started.
