Company of Heroes 2 review and opinion roundup

This game definitely looks super exciting, love the time setting & weather effects on the game, brings out realism, ;)
 
Although I only played the open beta, I can say that it's still very much COH at its core, which is a good thing. It pretty much still looks the same as the first COH, but that's also ok. I think'll definitely buy this for the purpose of having some good co-op times online :D.

Same here. I thought last night that I'm going to wait for a Steam sale though. It's 60$. Which would not have been too bad if the Rand wasn't so up to shit as it is now.

Gamers just can't win in SA. First we couldn't buy games on Steam because we didn't have affordable uncapped internetz. Now we can't buy games on Steam because the exchange rate is so kak. Massive sighz, man. :(

Retail is around R400 in SA, buy it and link it to steam. Even with a stronger Rand, Steam is way to expensive for this game.

I checked the websites for BT Games, Takealot, Musica, Look and Listen and CNA but couldn't see it anywhere on those sites.

Moody, I had the beta installed so not sure if that changes things. I entered my key on steam and it then downloaded 3.8 GB.

I saw it on Zapsonline. I just walked into BT yesterday and they had one copy that wasn't preordered so I took it. From the sales staff they indicated that they only received enough stock to cover pre-orders, but were expecting more stock 'soon'.
 
Ha,ha F - I'm kicking myself now I saw the beta in my games list - but I didnt want to download it!! - more fool me!!

And look at your sig - Ive been downloading COH 2 for more than 11 hours - so peed off!!

Even so, the beta was around 6GB, so something doesn't seem right.

I had a look at the COH forums last night and there were a couple of local guys also complaining about this and one of the guys on SA gamer was also busy downloading the 9.9gb patch as well?

If you look at the disk space required on Steam it say 30GB, I'm sure you are almost there!

yes thats whats worrying me - Theres only 11gb of data on the disks, I downloaded 4+-gbs yesterday and I'm busy with the 9.9gb dl now - I hope that this dosent mean that theres a further 5gb patch to be done??
