Also, in a thread like TK that gains pages by the second some days going back and editing your previous post isn't viable as by the time you're done doing that it's already "old news" and 2 pages back and nobody will see it :D

Exactly what you said and alas just edited my old post to quote you also in my reply seeing as I only saw your post afterwards so a perfect example of how quick it is :D.

Honestly, it's a bit of a hassle to try and copy/paste quotes, especially when more than one person posted as you were typing out your post, with editing, your edit might not be seen, since it doesn't affect the thread subscription notifications or the What's New listings.

Well its not really where the problem lies anyway I see it in offtopic and in other places quite often by newbies.

True not worried about the oldies here its the newbies using it to gain points.

I only use the whats new tab when looking for something to read.
