Teen jailed after League of Legends outburst

Ridiculous. I mean 8 years for saying something like that. Surely it is worth no more than a tongue lashing :(

WTF to this really ? REALLY... i dont know what to think of this. Dam so this means every time someone smack talks to people over a game or online they going to jail LOL. How stupid can one be.

Absolutely ridiculous. Governments really need to get their priorities right in terms of law enforcement. They focus too much on things that are far less serious than other issues plaguing the world.

If I had to have gone to jail for some sarcastic remarks I made on facebook - I'd've been inside for a while now.

Nevermind the rapist and murderers we need to prosecute people ranting and using their first amendment rights, I mean sure the other guys are hurting people killing them and dare i say breaking the law but hey at least they are not saying bad things to or about people.

This is retarded imagine going to jail for something like this, I mean He is in prison right now, if he did not have the skills to kill before he might when he gets out.

To summarize all i need to do to ruin someones life is hack their facetube and post unacceptable content on it.

Ironically, most psychotic teens involved in school shootings have little to no social interaction/outbursts. Common sense says that old Justin was merely retaliating with sarcasm in response to provocation. Eight years, really? Meanwhile, elsewhere in America, some internet 'good guy' who's browser home page is set to cuteoverload.com, is crafting himself a leather jacket made entirely of human faces and no one's the wiser ...

Well imagine this, I hack someone's facebook account, then make horrid racist and murderous comments and then my enemy gets sent to jail and he will most likely be sent because this case will set a precedent for future cases.

Whats next, hanging the kid playing GTA because he enjoys running over people, do we arrest people for sarcastic comments on the street, will we expel the student who makes a joke on his exam script?

Ouch...thats a bit ruff! :wtf: Obviously authorities dont understand sarcasm.... and they cant seem to catch real criminals, so they bully kids....eish

Poor kid! Perfect example though of "think before you speak"

Facebook has IP address tracking when you login so you should be able to prove that your account got hacked.

University PC, if we go to the same school or Uni then a public PC could be used. I'm sure there is a workaround to use to your advantage, however it's more the result of what this case means to future outbursts is the problem, I'm just using that as an example of how to use the court case in future for evil.
