Launch Splooge

As we head toward the launch of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, we're going to soon be hearing about their launch libraries, and how awesome they are. Ignore these boasts.

Let Jimquisition bring light into your life, explaining how the demand for a strong launch lineup is misplaced, and how consoles may screw themselves by spurting out a big wad at once.
Launch day game library vs a game library, which is better

A nice change from the next gen attack but still on a similar thread. I think Jim's theory makes sense, after all how many people buy 20 games at launch as compared to one a month. Maybe this is where backwards compatibility would also help but that’s out the window. Nice video but not much too really talk about, still guys need post so let the debate begin.

Some of the launch titles look promising but I agree. While most people are debating which of the upcoming consoles are the bestest it might be better to hang back a while and see what kind of games come later.
I bet there are a lot of Wii U owners out there who have had some great games but had to shelf the console cause they don't keep coming.
