It's about 30-40 mins by car depending on the traffic ...... she walked and eventually took a sketchy taxi. People fuck me off because they are fine with an old lady walking and struggling instead of adding 10-15mins to their trip.

Obviously if you're far away and cannot help, that's fine but others ...... ye

i think the problem is that finding the nice people these days arent easy especially if you arent networked unfortunately i dotn really know anyone from durban

People are assholes dude. My sister in law was mugged two weeks ago and she walked about 3 kms to my house - no one bothered to stop and see if she was ok, even though she was clearly injured.

I wrote a letter to the newspaper telling everyone what a bunch of fucks they are are but it was rejected - surprise surprise.
 
Ye I've phoned papers and community papers before after family have been hit by crime and layed into them ....... because I know they won't publish shit.
 
Yea MH Im so sorry I can't even offer help, I have no one in Durbs to even check with.

Murph - that is one of the things that pisses me off the most, no one bothering to stop and help. I do stop and help if I see a girl alone on the road and it looks like she has been injured. Even if its just to call someone for them and wait till help arrives.

Yeah totally - on the other hand, a friend of mine stopped once to help an injured girl and instead got a gun in his face.
 
Ag moenie worry nie ...... funny how all the people from outside Durban feel bad about not being able to help compared to the chops in Durban. Ai tog :)
