What movie did you last watch thread.

Hahahahaha TBlaar!

I also watched that over the weekend, it was good.

I also watched The Call last night - not a huge fan of hailey barry but she sold it for me.

Watched "Here Comes The Boom" featuring Kevin James. Enjoyed it - and so did my wife. Family comedy type movie based around a MMA fighter.

Last movie I watched, not even a mere 20 minutes ago, was Two Headed Shark Attack. For some strange and unknown reason I love these shitty B-movies.

For those who haven't seen it, a word of caution: it's bad, really really bad. Everything is absolutely crap about this movie. Then why do I torture myself by watching this? Because this level of shit is almost transcendent. It's so bad that it's actually funny and bloody marvelous. Watch any Megashark movies and you'll see what I'm on about...

Transporter 2

Seen it before but with a horrible memory like mine, it was like seeing it for the first time :)

Ek het ook daai movie gekyk. Kak snaaks. Also love myself these Horrible B rated movies. So Terribad that it's actually awesome :P

Like Shark Nite 3D.

Watched The Craft for the first time last week. Wow, quite enjoyed it actually, didn't think it was as good as my friend said it would be.

I watched Batman Begins and Real Steel.

Batman Begins is arguably my favourite out of the Christian Bale bat films. The Dark Knight was also good, but I didn't really enjoy The Dark Knight Rises that much.

Real Steel is quite enjoyable too. I think I enjoyed it that much more this time without having to listen to my brother mumbling on about what a prick Hugh Jackman's character was. :)

Olympus has Fallen - 8.3/10

Very exciting movie! On par with the cool action movies of the late 90's and early 2000's like The Rock. I think they heavily drew inspiration from the first Mitch Rapp book though. The story is just more... modern. Russians are out. Arabs are out. Now it's the North Koreans.

Anyway, one thing did irritate me somewhat.

SPOILER:

After the gun that destroyed the first wave of SEAL teams was blown up - why didn't they send in more soldiers? The coast was basically clear...

White House Down - 6.5/10

It's better than Olympus Has Fallen in many ways and makes for EPIC LOLS throughout the film. Probably the most entertaining film I've watched in years :D

Olympus Has Fallen - 6/10

Very entertaining. It's a very Gehard Butler film (in the same way the latest Die Hard is a very Bruce Willis film). Nothing special but you know from the onset that nobody is expecting to win or be nominated for any awards.

White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen aren't the best films out there but they are so entertaining that I would actually consider buying them on DVD :)

I saw A Good Day to Die Hard, and honestly it's about the worst I've seen in the series, or at least on a par with Die Hard 2, but probably worse. I sincerely hope it's the last, because I don't know how many more clever titles they can come up with. Otherwise I imagine the next one will be Eat Sh*t And Die... Hard.

I also saw Avatar again (only my 2nd time). Some clever ideas in there, but boy did they wind up the hype machine on it years ago.

Watched World War Z and Man of Steel both on their EU release dates, both were good but man of steel was very very very cliche and predictable just like all those super hero movies are. That's where I loved The Dark Knight, because in the end Joker got the better of Batman.

As I said WWZ was a good movie, and a definite addition to the top of the range zombie movies. Brad Pitt's performance was excellent 10/10 as usual, but I felt that the movie tried to be too grand-scale but couldn't hold up to it. Also Brad Pitt's aging is becoming more and more apparent, he's not the sexy madafaka he used to be in Fight Club.

The first one was good, and also Live free or die hard. The rest were plain shit.

Got about half way through This is 40 today before we had to open up shop, will continue watching it soon. I really started getting in to it actually, didn't think I would.

The first one will always be my favourite. The third one was the better sequel (much better than the second film, in my opinion), and the fourth one was surprisingly good. This fifth one definitely disappointed me.

The last movie I watched was Song for Marion.

8/10

-1 point because it's a British film
-1 point because it made me cry (almost)

It really has a touching story. I can relate with old Arthur...:wtf:
