The highest achievement score in Guild Wars 2 (EU) at the moment is 11,126 - some dude on Baruch Bay. The highest on our server is 11,000 on the nose. The only two within STI who have a higher achievement score than myself at the moment are Frudi and Onslaught, probably because they're the only two blokes apart from me who still play semi-regularly :p

I can't remember what your account name is, so can't check yours :)

I'm njardus, and I'm updating my client again. Thing is, my entire client got corrupted by an update bug :( It'll be a while still.
 
Question: I've racked up about 1.1 million karma. What should I as a Mesmer spend it on? :) I'm not sure where to start making sense of what would be the best armour to spend it on for starters, but my character does seriously need a gear upgrade.

I've checked - I think your account name is Avatar in GW as well, but I couldn't see it on the leaderboards this morning, and even in-game it doesn't show since you haven't logged in in a while. You get an achievement chest every 500 points, and it applies retroactively, but you'll only get one per day until you catch up. So I'll get my 1k chest tomorrow, and my 1.5k the day after, etc etc.

Lydon, your best bet would be to head through to Orr and buy exotic armor from the various temples. I'm not sure what stats you'll want to focus on, so you'll probably have to hop around a bit to find everything you need (also depends on which temples are available). You can get your jewels and accessories from there as well.

Each item, if I remember correctly, goes for 42k, so if you get armor and accessories, it'll set you back about 400 - 500k. What to do with the rest, I have no idea ... I've got a little over a million myself, and nothing to spend it on :p I'm sure something will surface eventually in one of the content updates. So I'll keep saving it for now. I'll probably need to spend quite a bit when I get to the point that I can do my legendary weapons.

I got myself a full set in Orr, and it was quite serviceable until such time as I could craft my own exotic gear, and I have some ascended accessories.

You could also spend it on Orrian jewelry boxes, which gives you a chance for lodestones if you need them or just want to try your luck and sell them on the TP.

Thanks. I never chased the achievements that much, so I doubt if I'll have 500 yet. Now I have a goal to aim at! Yay!
 
Hey guys, I'm new here! :)

So what do you guys think of the new reward chests? IMO its like a wvw badge give away! Got a new armor set, just like that :P
 
I haven't touched the game in like 3 months now :eek:, I can only imagine the amount of updating I'm in for when I launch the client :rolleyes:
