If you could would you live forever? if you knew that we would explore space in spaceships?

What would you like to be able to see that science fiction become science?

Would love to be able to go into space and just explore planets.
Also would love to be able to see the world gun less and rather go back to sword fighting :D
Also a pitboy would not be bad for starters.
As for dues ex augmentation would so help our fragile human bodies.

I'd like to live forever, yeah. Would be wonderful to see the way the world and the universe change and go out with one big apocalyptic assplosion.

Just want to live long enough to be able to see the entire globe and explore as much as possible -- and one trip to space.
I may then expire thereafter.

Would love to have cyborg like implants.
Flying cars and effective public transport like in the movies would also be awesome :D

I'm only afraid on what you said here:
Also would love to be able to see the world gun less and rather go back to sword fighting :D

I'd also like those implants :p

I just wanna fly around in my car/spaceship/hovercraft thingy or whatever! :D That is all!

Lightsabers?

If I could, yes, I'd live forever.I'd like to explore all the corners of the earth. Then the Galaxy. Then I'll 'retire' on some planet and claim it as my own. There I'll read all day, play games all night.

I'd also like to see artificial limbs/body parts being grown from your own cells.

They speculate that the first person to live 1000 years old has already been born...

Cross Planet and system colonization, research into animals that are genetically made so they only live on instincts (like a grand arena where weird genetically made and altered animals and other creatures fight it out. They are made only with instincts so not to violate future animal rights)

Cross planet gaming and a giant MMOFPSRPG game that takes place on multiple planets where you can create and modify your gear and character to the nanometer.

Don't think I would want to live for too long as it would get pretty tough with everyone you meet dying around you. 250 should cover it I reckon

250 years for me, just enough advancements and then I will still probably have a good frame of reference.

OP why are the poll options not in numerical order?

Just finished reading neuromancer recently.. Wouldn't like to live forever though.. Don't think I could handle outliving all my loved ones, falling in love with someone and outlive them too.. in an endless cycle.. seems like torture. Technological advancements would be cool though. I would like to own my own "medabot" haha if any of you guys watched that cartoon.

Screw seeing/exploring "the everything".

I would want to use that time to acquire knowledge. Learn everything!
Contribute to science in a way that no one else can. That's what immortality(or 1000+ lifespan) means to me.

I just want to live long enough to find out whats on those "Twin Earth" planets but most importantly.....

I want to have my own hover board!

If everyone lives for 500 years lets say.... i think we will need one of those twin earth planets bradbear117 is talking about.
