That's exactly what first came to my mind when I saw the phrase. I thought it was quite a funny comment to be honest, purely because I saw it from the prison aspect of things.

Sigh, I hate to be that guy again, but what exactly is so funny about prison rape? The way it ruins people's lives, is one of the worst things you can do to someone, how it is one of the leading causes of suicide in prisons or maybe how it hampers inmates' chances of ever being rehabilitated or leading normal lives after being released from prison?

If there's something funny about it, I don't see it.

If you're a convicted man, I really don't give two shits what happens to you. Quite frankly a person who is convicted of say a rape, murder, etc... from a severe aspect mainly, doesn't deserve to be alive and I feel that if they get man handled in prison, well great and if they off themselves then woohoo that's one more criminal we don't have to worry about anymore. A murderer or rapist gave up their rights as human beings when they committed their crimes so let them suffer I don't care.

You noticed how I worded what I said carefully, I'm referring to those that actually committed the crimes since. Like I said those that commit the crimes deserve everything they get. The very small percentage of those wrongfully committed is a shame but hell what can you do, it happens unfortunately.

I fail to see how some people 'deserving' to be raped makes it an okay subject to be joked about, though. We don't make jokes about gassing jews or sending black people back to the cotton fields. Why should we be given a free pass to make tasteless rape jokes?

There's already a major problem with rape victims being too ashamed of being raped to go seek medical/legal help. The stigma around rape victims is bad enough. We don't have to contribute to that by mocking rape victims or making jokes in which we condone rape.
