Sponsring Gaming events

Hi there. It makes me sick if I help out a LAN in getting sponsorship and no one enters. I've recently try to sponsor MPLD with some prizes. No one entered the comp. So I think that gamers don't enjoy a sponsorship and Know what effort goes into it.

So I think that most gamers must get there act together. I almost always enter a comp at MPLD and other LANs.
 
Diceair what company do you sponsor under and have you ever tried sponsoring for Liberty Lan as I know the guys there enjoy a good comp...
 
DiceAir send me a message with what you are looking to do.. Pantheon Gaming recently sponsored the July CSS competition. With sufficient advertising, we made it the largest CSS LAN since rAge last year.

I think you should talk to one of the admins at Organised Chaos LAN. www.oc.co.za. 700 man LAN that happens on a monthly basis. Based in Cape Town. Biggest in SA if I'm right.
A Sponsorship for a Comp would be very welcome indeed.
Recently we've been getting the UT3 community up and its showing great success. We held a 2v2 comp last month and +-27 teams entered.
They currently running a CoD4 and DotA series aswell.
There's also a load of other different games thats being played there... Comps happen alot too.
Talk to one of the admins, I'm sure they'll be more than happy.

cool. what will you like to get as prizes? but the problem is I need something in return. lets say I want to sponsor a HDD. What do I get in return?
 
By Sponsoring something, you will only get satisfaction seeing other ppl being happy of getting a prize, Like spoOkie said.

If you are thinking of only cashing in on returns, then what's the use of sponsorship?Specially private, it's not tax deductable :p

Register on oc forums (http://forum.oc.co.za) and make a post about this in the relevant section(Games & Tournaments sound appropriate) and you'll get enough replies about what prizes and maybe the admins can tell you what you can get out of it... but like the others said, whats a sponsorship if you want something in return... but depending what you mean by something in return it might be up for discussion.
But like I said go post on OC forums and you'll get alot of feedback, from both lanners and admins.

Well what people would do is come to you to buy stuff, if u give away sweet stuff to a person U KNOW will come back again and again, then he tells his mates about u. hence u have 2 more customers than u would
