I really wanted this processor, until I saw the Price tag and then the Power Consumption. Got me down, now to re-order me a FX-8350... But for those that do get this processor seems like a nice thing to own.

On the plus side, many FX-8350 chips can now reach the same voltage and clock speed limits if you have the right board and cooling system. So this is just AMD showing what its silicon can really do when it has no limitations.

i have not had an AMD since before my Core 2 Duo, even though i always liked their stuff. my shopping only has a small window of opportunity and this always happen to coincide with Intel having fast new tech... too bad for AMD, but lucky for me, i guess
