Dragon Age saved games will import to Dragon Age Inquisition

they are gonna have a tough time with that launch window, they had better hope it's polished
 
Yeah, I'm taking this save game transfer details with a pinch of salt. No expectations. In Dragon Age 2, the effects was laughable and from experience with ME, we know that most choices made in previous games doesn't carry much weight. They simply replace the character in a story segment with some unknown, modify the dialogue a bit and everything else stays the same.
I'll still get Dragon Age because I enjoy the games but I have no confidence in any promises Bioware makes. With Dragon Age however, the story isn't as deep as with Mass Effect so I'm not much bothered with the save game transfer to begin with.

I actually enjoyed the choices carried over from ME1&2 into 3. The only nic was the choices got funnelled as the game progressed.
If they could take a page out of how choices get carried over in the walking dead (telltale), that would be amazing :)

(now to hunt down my DA:O saves)
 
Good. That means I have another year to finish Dragon Age 2, which I bought about a year back I think...or was it 2?
 
Eish. I finished the first Dragon Age on XBox and got Dragon Age 2 on PC as a gift from my wife. I hope I can load in the save games of that particular game depending on what platform I get the next Dragon Age on.
 
I changed from PC to Xbox between 1 and 2., so this doesn't concern me at all. Depending on what the gameplay is like I might change again.
 
I got all the DLCs for Dragon Age 2 and also downloaded the HighRes texture pack from Origin last weekend... so the plan is to restart the game sometime. While Dragon Age 1 is great, it is just too long. I can't see myself starting an 80-100 hour game right now, so I'll just start with DA2 since there is still a lot of content I haven't played yet.
 
Lost all my saves ages ago...

Tried replaying a few months ago and urgh... I just can't do it any more. Played them so often it makes me feel sick just to think about it...

I found a nice Save Generator for Dragon Age: Origins, that you can use to import a character into Dragon Age 2. But, of course, there's no guarantee that it has all the information needed (such as what your character looked like) that may be used in Dragon Age 3.

But I have a year... A year to either play the games over again myself... Or to convince my spousal unit to do it for me :D
