So a mate of mine is dragging me along to a Mensa exam cause he doesn't want to go alone...

So I did the online test to see if I'm just going to throw my money in the water or not, and apparently I stand a very good chance to pass

Kinda ambivalent about Mensa tbh. I've been poked & prodded quite enough in the psychometric testing for work so I think I'll give it a miss for now.

Judging from past proper IQ tests, I'd likely miss it by an IQ point or two. So if I sleep well the night before & the gods favour me...

Also OP tell your friend to man the fck up....not wanting to go alone wtf.

lol dude its all BS anyway. You get people with genius level IQ who are foiled by a can of baked beans and a can opener.

Actually I've got an uncle like that...IQ off the charts, but practical skills not so hot.

Thanks for completing the Mensa online test. You got 27 of 33 questions correct, and therefore have a good chance of successfully completing the Mensa entry test.

Not sure what the 21 is for, probably the test number, looks like I'm in with a shout, I love these types of tests - thanks OP!

What does this test actually prove?

nothing. It's just a test to get an idea of what your odds are of passing the exam

I just don't know if it's worth it tbh. It's R100 to write the exam, then if you pass you have to pay a R200 per year membership fee......

Don't think it's justified just to put "MENSA Member" on my CV
