Hey guys, we need to come up with new, more interesting descriptions for the levels of the reputation system.

I think if we can have them be more gaming related it would be great, but any good ideas are welcome.

Here are the current levels for reference.

User is nothing more than a troll, do not feed
-50

User does not play well with others
-10

User is known to have troll like tendencies, but there is still hope
0

User is an unknown quantity at this point
10

User is off to a good start (level 1)
20

User has established themself as rather nice (level 2)
30

User is bi-winning (level 3)
70

User is an invaluable asset (level 4)
120

User is the heart and soul of MyGaming (level 5)
250

User is a name known to all
550

User is a splendid one to behold
650

User has much to be proud of
1000

User has a brilliant future
1500

User has a reputation beyond repute
2000

Currently, it seems like most regular members are stuck between level 2 and 3

As far as I know only two members have been able to reach level 5. As you can see it's quite a huge jump to level 6, so it might be good idea to throw in a few more levels in between.

What do you guys think? Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Well I would change the way the system works, I for example can't upvote multiple posts in the pic of the day thread until I have upvoted other members, which in effect makes those who post content which is interesting for me lose out.

Because it is not up voting per se I think but giving them reputation for a valuable post.

All that is wrong ...... is in bold. Rep should never be given solely on a copy-pasta pic but rather humorous, quality, knowledgeable, insightful, etc posts.
 
Schematics if I want to upvote or give rep or give karma or whatever the system is called I want to not be restricted to whom I give and how many, especially when it come to pic of the day threads.

I do understand that there can be exploits in buddies or hydra's upvoting each other but that is causing legitimate posters to lose out.

Unless there is a guide on how to upvote content which you have found worthy of upvoting I feel I can give my upvotes however I want.

I have upvoted lots of other posts that weren't pics so saying tip these guys but don't tip these guys is kinda a subplot in Reservoir Dogs. . .

I disagree, if you want to add to someone's rep for a cleverly chosen pic as your retort then it should be allowed?

In any case lets not derail, the topic is ascertain new titles / quantities for the rep system, not comment on what should or should not be upvoted.
 
So most of the rep I've received is unworthy - given what I've just read here "whistling::(
 
Guys please try to stick to the topic, which is the descriptions of the levels. The way the system currently works is not going to change and is not up for debate.

Eugene, can the levels be changed in value or are you looking at only changing the wording of the different levels? Can you perhaps also point me into the direction where I can find more info on how the different levels can be obtained?

Yeah the numbers here can be changed, so more levels can be added if needed.
