Given that it looks like you guys are still in communication - why don't you try ending any and all communicable ways/options.
Shouldn't that be problem-solving enough?

You may end up getting into another situation where the "replacement" will be just as he is -- unless of course, there is someone you like, and are going to "use" him for the purpose of getting your ex off your back for good...
 
You see I don't want to get back in another relationship. I mean really 7 years is moer long. But even though I try an cut all communication he still gets to me some or other way. Just stops at my house and and and.
 
7 years is long. My longest was 2 months - almost.

But, like I said, go with your gut feeling - or let things run their path.
 
I'm far from a player. It's because of -- nevermind... It just simply didn't work out.
I just don't think I'm ready for such commitments - yet...
 
Aye, each to their own ....... I know a dude who was not into dating at all until he was 19. Wasn't for religiosity, just didn't want to have to make the time at that point in his life.

Hey duder! Been trimming the work stress by going on random dive trips as much as possible. Just got back from the Red Sea, Egypt - interesting place. Not all of it pleasant, but definitely interesting.
