Dragon's Frown

Oh yes, it's another video about reviews and things. Not quite the usual flavor, but certainly something that cannot be repeated enough.

If you're a fan of Vanillaware, you may not be helping by pouring excessive scorn on a reviewer who may not agree with you. In fact, nobody's helped when you stop the party just because one person isn't enjoying it as much as you are. Who wins there? Nobody. Least of all those who threw the party.

This week Jim is on the hunt to dismiss those who dismissed Polygon who dismissed Dragons crown. It's the same story as The last of Us, everyone loves it but one guy doesn't give it a good score so the internet focused it's power on the one poor score instead of the rest of the great scores and the game itself. In a way gamers who do this are becoming EA, homogenizing the industry into one formula and dismissing anyone who doesn't agree.

It's a big irony how gamers expect fresh new unique games but attack anything that is a unique opinion compared their own. Opinions?

Watch this weeks JimQuisition and coment below. Also no, the title is not a typo or mistake

Wow, this has been one of Jim more controversial JimQuisitions but MyGaming is very silent on this one

Maybe we should rather have a Jimquisition thread? To be honest I ignored the thread title for a while - I didn't know what it was...

Thanks for that, can a mod amend the title to "JimQuisition - Dragon's frown" and I shall title future threads as such

Mods don't read every post. If you want to request something like this, report your original post and ask there.

Better yet, start a Jimquisition thread! much easier to keep track of than many different threads.

Well I'm trying to encourage discussion and debate related to Jim's weekly topics and I don't think a combined thread would encourage as much debate.

I'm also for a combined Jimquisition thread. Not all of his shows are really worth debating. Like this one, where I went meh and turned it off half way.

Having all things Jim consolidated into a single thread would also open the discussion to things beyond the episode in question.
