Superbru - Currie Cup and Rugby Championship 2013

All I know is that this year's Currie Cup is much closer than I would've imagined. I love it! It makes for some spectacular rugby to be played.

Or the Sharks are really poor. Unfortunately I missed the first game so I'm not sure which one is right.

Ja but I don't think the bulls are that good either. I mean come on a draw against WP? You either win by far or lose by far against WP.

It was a combination of both. Griquas are going to be a real contest without the Boks in the competition. But playing the Bulls at home, I doubt that is a match they can pull off. Sharks did cover themselves in glory either. They looked flat and some of the combos did not work.

As a die hard Sharks supporter I'm gonna say it was due to the Sharks poor performance. The Griquas were good, but the the Sharks were terrible. I'm still gonna give them a win by 5 for this weekend...

I haven't quite made up my mind yet, but atm I'm thinking:
Sharks by 5
Bulls by 8
Cheetahs by 2

My reasoning is as like this:
The Sharks played crap and the loss should have been a good wake-up call, so expect a big game from them at home.
The Bulls will have taken more from the draw than WP did. Also, Griquas have NEVER won a game at Loftus.
The Cheetahs are usually pretty crap at Newlands, but it's my team and I'll be damned if I'm going to bet against them after they pulled off a win the previous week.

I'm going with the BB and the Mighty Free State Cheetahs, still torn about the Sharks game, not sure what to do there.

*Whine Alert!*

Lazygamer and MyGaming can learn a lot from each other.

MyGaming in that they can sponsor prizes for the Superbru pools and make it something big like at Lazygamer. :p

And Lazygamer in actually giving out their prizes. I came second in their Super Rugby Superbru pool. Afterwards no one contacted me. I waited a long while and then finally contacted the guy by sending him a pm at Superbru. So he told me to send my details to an email address that he gave me. I did that and never got so much as a reply. This was a week ago.

At MyGaming, if you win something you get it immediately and you deal with friendly people. I guess I'm just disappointed because I've been looking forward to my prize.

Okay, sorry but I had to get that off my chest somewhere and um this was as good a place as any.

*Back to the rugby*

I can't wait for the Rugby Championship! I'm feeling a lot more positive about the Springboks than last year this time. May they play awesome rugby!

Yup, the Boks game has messed up the game times good and proper. The only consolation is that I'll see it live tomorrow.

Was really weird though having a 5pm hand on a Friday. Could not have done ticket sales any good. So did the Sharks draw the short straw on the early slot? Tsk!
