Xbox One SA launch looks likely for 2014

OK that gives us some time to measure the uptake and reviews and some more time to save up if hey are favourable.
AT least we'll have a good idea what to expect when it finally does come to SA.
 
This is going to hurt their sales. A lot of people will be ready and waiting for the next-gen wave to hit this Christmas, and if the PS4 is the only option available, then that's what they're going to go for. When the XBOX One finally does launch in SA in 2014 there's going to be very little market left available for it. Only the die-hard XBOX fans and those with enough money to own both consoles will jump at it then.

The problem here is that the consoles are so extremely similar this time around that the "first to market" company is going to be the winner - and it looks like it's going to be Sony!
 
Not surprised, knew it was only launching in 2014 anyway...

@ James, can you find out sometime closer to the xb1 launch next year if the new decoder from DSTV will work with the xb1? If you can keep it mind ;)

That would be great.. Then we could actually use the tv function :D

It's sad that its releasing so late here.. But at least everyone will now see all the reviews on the x1 before they start buying it..
