Bit of a retro request here. I saw recently PS3 DJ Hero 2 bundle insanely cheap clearance around, and figured I'd pick it up to get a second turntable, and discard/give away the game, but it was sold out about a minute before I was going to hit the checkout button
Anyway, I see the PS2 version is still really cheap, and so I am wondering ... is there a difference between the PS2 and PS3 turntables? My existing turntable that I got with my PS3 copy of DJ Hero says "Wireless Turntable Controller for PS2 & PS3", so it should work, but I wandered if anybody could confirm with first-hand experience?
Extra info: Bought DJ Hero 1 with turntable for PS3. Bought DJ Hero 2 standalone.
tl;dr: Are the PS2/PS3 turntables the same, and compatible with both consoles?
