Who *hasn't* had their Xbox 360 RROD (yet)?

I've seen so many posts about guys whose consoles have RROD'ed but none from guys whose boxes are still running properly.

I've had my Xbox 360 for just over 2 years now and I've never had any problems... I'm sure the reason for my console's longevity is that it sits in a horizontal position in a relatively well ventilated place. :)

Anyone else?

(Murphy's law will have my console fried after posting this... let's wait and see)

Mine hasn't, although I am on my second one.

First one got hit by lightening which fried the network port. But everything else was still working.

I don't have one but a friend of mine has gone through two now, whereas another friend's 360 has been working fine for a long while without any problems.

I had one that RRoD. The network port started to go and the next day the Xbox was gone. I bough an Arcade while waiting for the swap out. I now have two and use both.

Lol. You sound even more impatient that I am... Although, thinking about it, I'd probably buy a new console within 24 hours of mine dying (if it ever does). ;)

Bought mine in March this year. Waited till I was sure that I was getting a Jasper unit.

I havent had any problems with mine. Had it for close to 2 years now and it's never given me a minute of hassle or downtime.

Mine hasn't (touch would), but then again, I only got it last week. Although, from the sound of things, I should be lucky it's lasted a week :)

That was during the time that there was no stock available in the country and nobody could tell me when the stock is coming in.

I had my first console for two years and one day before it suddenly, and entirely without any warning whatsoever, E74ed on me. I'd kept it in a very well-ventilated location, and was always fastidious about turning it off from time to time during long sessions to let it cool down.

Does anyone know anyone with a first generation model that's still alive? Wasn't the failure rate something like 1 in 3?

Mine stands verticle have had it for about a year and a half now and the guy i bouht it from had it for about 2 years and its still running fine

My first (1 of the original models RROD'd on me after 2.5yrs), my 2nd console (elite) is still going strong :)
