Hey guys,

I'd like some input on a machine I'm thinking of getting. I'm getting R7000 from insurance, and looking to put in R1000-R2000 of my own to upgrade.

I'm going to be using my old hard drives and ram.

With the help of Sharkbait, we've got the following as an estimate, let me know what you guys think and/or what I should change (all prices from rebeltech):

Graphics: GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD, GTX760, 2Gb/2048mb 256bit DDR5, with WindForce3x - 3 fan
R3,382

CPU: Intel Core i5-4430, 3.0GHz, LGA1150, Quad Core (with 4 threads), 22nm, 6MB L3 ca
R2,205

Case: Corsair Carbide 300R, Mid Tower, Black, No PSU (bottom placed psu design), suppo
R656

PSU: Corsair VS650, 650w (12v : 600w), EPS12V, ATX 12V V2.3, 24pin, with active-PFC,
R667

Mobo: ASRock Fatal1ty H87 Performance, all-in-one LGA1150, Intel H87, 4x dual channel
R1,399

SSD's are so so expensive. Im not too sure about their reliability either. Dont see a point in spending so much money on them. Unless money isn't really an issue. :)

If you going to use a SSD as a main gaming Drive it's fine as soon as you put an OS on that thing, make sure you are prepared to do a back up of that drive bi-weekly just incase it decides to do a complete wipe.

SSDs are dodgy at best. Getting better than a few years back, but far off from perfect.

We have had two die in servers, both within a week of them being installed.

I'm using 2 SSDs at the moment(and one before that), haven't had a single issue yet.
