The original dungeon defense game returns, but not to the PC from whence it came. EA is bringing back Dungeon Keeper as an iOS and Android mobile game this winter.

I know you're upset, PC folks. Bullfrog's classic was the sort of game you could only find on PC back in the late 90s, a monument to the versatility of our platform of choice.

But doesn't it just seem perfect for a large touch screen? The game's tower defense with benefits. It's almost as if visionary game designer Peter Molyneux was looking towards the future when he created Dungeon Keeper, to a time when we'd all be touching our games.

Either way, EA promises this new Dungeon Keeper will have all of the evil that made the original so compelling. Building dungeons, filling them with traps, cackling with glee. You'll be able to invade other players' dungeons with your army. There'll even be wit. We like wit.

I've found that EA usually hits the mark with their mobile titles. And if it does happen to be another freemium game, I don't reckon it'll be too invasive judging by the awesome job they've just done with Plants vs Zombies 2.

I haven't played PvZ2 yet, but looking at other titles from EA on mobile, I have to agree. I also won't mind dropping up to $5 upfront for this title if it is comparable to the original.
 
I'm in two minds about this, but it's helluva exciting stuff!! Can't wait to get this off the Playstore!! :D

True that. And you can play the entire game without spending a single cent on IAP.

Personally I'd rather just pay for all the content upfront with one price, but if they continue to follow this PvZ2 model then I won't complain.
 
Just do a search for it! DO IT BANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got mine last week.
