XBox Games with Gold: More issues!

So we have seen an improvement in the quality of the games Microsoft is offering on the program since Assassins Creed 2 was available last month.
Since Dead Rising 2 is so far the only game I don't already own I decided to go for it and download it yesterday.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a whole list of content, including DLC when I clicked through the Games with Gold section on XBL.
Selected the Game, confirmed my password, had a code sent via sms for further verification and then the confirm purchase page came up. I'm on the dashboard Beta so my account has already been semi-migrated to the currency system, this resulted in the page insisting on my credit card info even though the game is "Free!". I was eventually able to switch to the point system and get the game but this is going to be a potential problem for people later in the year when the total switch takes effect. By this I mean people who don't have a credit card or want to have their info taken down for no other reason than to get a free game. Also the usuall price listed was in British Pounds and I'm on an SA account so it means that it was probably ported to this region and things are still buggy.
Then there is the other DLC content that is listed but "not available in your region" that includes all the Skills packs and the advertised "Case Zero" DLC is not even there at all!
It seems like South Africa has once again been short-changed by Microsoft.

On my side again I thought I would get it on the XBox itself. However I could not find it at all. When I got to the Games with Gold section on the XBox it was still showing Crackdown. So I went and searched for Dead Rising 2 but alas it was not listed at all.

So the only place where I could get it was on the website and then I too had the request for my credit card. Changing to points fixed it but wow the whole thing is incredibly unorganized.

Oh and XBox South Africa must get their act together because when I log into the website it doesn't always seem to recognize that I'm a gold member. They can also really update the XBox free gold game to Dead Rising 2, like the rest of the world.

I feel bad for them because it doesn't look like they take any pride in their work.

*edit*

The whole free games thing is pretty awesome though. No one should use MS Live South Africa though. Always make use of a US or UK account.

i was for 3 months on xbl Sa then decided to switch back to the uk account, yes some games are more expensive on the uk account especially the games on demand titles but atleast there's a bigger variety available

I have several friends who had Xbox 360s with Gold subscriptions tell me they're not going to renew it because our services are so shoddy. Added to that, our government is going to find a way to mess with the currency change system because they want to tax digital purchases, and they know how lucrative the games industry is.

I'm sorry but the Magic game is not even an incentive. RSV is awesome, but Magic - come on!

I don't agree, I really enjoyed the magic game and RSV is old. At least they offering a variety and not just catering for one demographic of gamer.
