Fucking awesome man. My cuz got her first tattoo a few weeks ago my god it was terrible. Spelt wrong and the portion was bad.

I wouldn't get a tattoo, but if I did, I think as a gamer, a game logo would make much more sense than something random like a Chinese character or some other silly text in a foreign language that you don't even speak.

Because I love Borderlands. I have the Witcher logo on my other wrist as well. It's not like I am ever going to stop gaming or loving these particular games so I might as well wear my love for them on my sleeve. Have other tattoos on my right arm, but I'm planning to do a full gaming sleeve on my left.
Is there a pic in this thread? Would like to see.

True. I've heard too many horror stories about someone who got a tattoo with Chinese characters, only to have every Chinese person who walks by him or her sniggering, until eventually one of them walks up and points out that what that person thought was "princess" is actually more like "whore".

Well, if you trust your artist and do your research you will get a kanji that means something.
I still have to go under the needle a few more times before I am satisfied, I would love to get an Oni:
I would get minimal amounts of colour and shading, I love lineart. Would also finish my chest piece too, with a lotus.

I thought about getting a tattoo years ago. I even designed it myself, but then my harddrive crashed and I lost the design, because I wasn't yet in the habit of frequently backing up. Maybe that was a sign not to go through with it.
They say there's only one tattoo you won't regret, even when you're old and saggy and the ink looks rubbish. And that is your child's name, because they will be yours forever no matter what (and hopefully you die before they do). Woe to those who get their bf, gf, or spouse's name done. Mom or dad might be okay.
If I had to get a gaming tattoo -- I once wanted to get the Quake or Strogg symbol or something like that for some reason. Probably because I was into Quake a lot years ago, especially Quake 2.

People always use when you old its going to look bad. I say when you old you not going to care. You going to look at your tattoos and remember the good old days.

That's one way of looking at it. I suppose when you get old you'll find out.
If people want a tattoo, that's great. Get a tattoo. Your tattoo looks pretty sweet. Some people's tattoos don't work out so well and they are the ones who will really regret it. There's little worse than ugly looking ink on someone's skin, like prison tattoos, you know?

Yeah shit dude, that's a terrible piece of ink. At least it's nothing too big or detailed so if she goes to a decent artist he/she should be able to cover it up pretty well.

Her friend did it for her. Rule of thumb don't let a friend do it I thought about my first tattoo for 6 years.

Same, I had an idea of what I wanted for about 4 years before I went and got it.
