Tried smoking a whole blue stuyvie one early morning.. felt incredibly sick and vomitted and then proceeded to sleep in a public toilet.
 
I need to maybe take up smoking. For the last 2 weeks or so I've been having urges to smell something strong and sharp/potent - like petrol or... turpentine. :wtf:

As somebody who smoked for 20 years (started when I was 16) and who's been trying to quit for the last 10, let me ask you one thing: do you want me to drive to Parrow and bliksem some sense into you?

I have been smoking for the last 15 years, more than half of my own age! I would advise anyone out there that even contemplates taking up smoking against it in the strongest possible way I can.

Noted. I'm always warned and advised against the idea -- will heed the warnings.

I'm pretty good at saying no. If I don't want to do something, I have no problem with telling someone to fuck off. You'll have to use physical force or bribery to get me to do something I don't feel like doing. :D

Yeah I'm the same, the reason I don't smoke weed, do drugs, drink spirits or drive after drinking - like some friends of mine I know. :rolleyes:
But the smoking thing - no excuse, no pressure, just.... mmm think I'll try just one pack and see how it goes. 15 years later and I don't even want to know how many ZAR's - and here I am. Talking to Eugene on the internet about it.

Lol why do you seem like staunch very cynical person to me? In my head I picture the personality type and voices of forumites and you always come across like this to me...

On topic, smoking seems so cool. The billows of smoke coming from your lips. I like the smell of certain brands of cigarette smoke. Also, it gives you an excuse to stand alone somewhere without people thinking you're some kind of loser. :D

Also I'm a social smoker, I only smoke when I can bum a cig of someone else. Costs me nothing and most people are stingy so I never get to smoke.
