Fifa 13 which is downright awesome. But because I already own it I might just go with PES for a different take on it. Fifa 14 looks like it is going to be a major overhaul (engine and game mode wise) for '13, but look more or less the same.
And the PES gameplay video makes it look damn SHEXY, so yeah, unless the reviewers bash it I reckon that's the one I'm going with.

There is no contest, the PC will be getting the sub standard(Feature wise) last gen version of Fifa 14.
It is PES 2014 for me all the way. The PESEDIT Patch includes all licences anyway.
As a PC gamer who has "bought" every Fifa since 1996(even during the dark days of 2007 - 2011) I am highly disappointed in EA and their PC version.

As I was a big fan of FIFA i converted to PES back from 2011. Have been a fan ever since and doubt I'll go back to the FIFA franchise (though I own FIFA13 cos it came with console).
The sheer gameplay and fluidity of PES is far more superior and the mechanics are just great. I really have nothing against playing with the proper licenses, but the PESPatch does help. Get yourself an XBOX controller on your PC and you're set.

My sentiments exactly. Left a bad taste in my mouth (no 360 dribbling on PC for godsakes!). I was a PES fanboy since PES 2 (I think?) on Playstation. Took me two weeks to win my first game and took me a whole month to do a bicycle kick...and I missed

Bought and have played Fifa 13 to death and I played a few matches in the Fifa 14 demo.
So what are the actual improvements over Fifa 13?!
1. Crisper game menus
2. Updated roster
3. Players feel a little heavier

Fck you EA. Konami are getting my money. The PESEDIT team will make sure absolutely everything is licensed(They have even made better kits than Fifa in the past) so PES all the way.

To put it simply, EA has a new engine for FIFA 14, but they're going back to giving the PC the cold shoulder in terms version parity. So, PC will get Xbox 360/PS3 FIFA 14, which is essentially 13.5, while PS4/Xbox One get the real FIFA 14, with all the bells and whistles.
This is why I'm not even bothered to try out the demo TBH (EA sent an email yesterday
).
