5 upcoming open world games

All of those look great.

It seems that the next gen is going to be all about open world.

GTA V will be the last game I buy for Xbox, the rest of those I will get for the PS4.

No AC IV :(

Still watch dogs looks awesome but that video from last night made me want to upgrade from Vigilante to dedsec, must resist

Metal Gear Solid 5! Oh man, looks incredible from footage I've seen! Totally reminds me of Red Dead Redemption, with the horse and the landscape. Snake in an open world excites me tremendously!

We only talking local games here or can we include open world games in the form of Elder scrolls, or more to the point Elder Scrolls online. Now there is a game I can not wait for, and yes its also coming to next gen consoles.

I recon I am more excited in the Multiplatform abilities the new games bring. No not console + PC playing along, I am talking the likes of calling in help from an iPad "hacker" when playing Watchdogs so you can play aspects of the game when on the move.

They all look good, but I think the Director of Metal Gear Solid has already said he doesn't think it compares to Watchdogs. Can't remember where i read this, and i could be wrong that its watchdogs, but i know it was Metal Gear Solid.

MMO's don't count as open world games, because open world games usually include an element of fun.

I cannot wait for the witcher 3. Huge fan of the games would love to get hold of the english translated books :D

That mmo looks pretty rad but I always end up getting bored with mmos.

I am a big fan of the franchise but I am not going to pay R150.00 a month to play.

Well I guess it depends on how close or far away gameplay will be from Skyrim/Oblivion. I really did enjoy those games. I would prefer Co-op ala Borderlands vs MMO where I have to pay monthly but I guess beggar can not be choosers.

If they going full on MMO in the likes of Neverwinter/Rift/WOW then yes I am gonna avoid it like the plague as well. If I wanted a farming game I would go buy Farm simulator :D

Watch Dogs
GTA V
The Witcher 3
... all highly anticipated!

Pardon my blasphemy, but that screenshot of The Witcher 3 looks goddamn amazing!
