There are three brands/drive models you should be looking at instead of a regular Vector if they're out of stock. Obviously the Vector is more desirable, but these drives also hold their own:

Seagate 600 120GB @ R1376

OCZ Vertex 450 128GB @ R1511
Samsung 840 120GB @ R1249

All three drives are proven performers, well-priced for their capabilities and rock solid. My vote goes to the Seagate 600. If your budget is R1500, I can also recommend the incredible Samsung 840 Evo. Its probably the best drive on the market today.
