Need a little math help.

You have a copper plate ingot with the dimensions:
Length:20cm
Width:14cm
Thickness:6cm

And a weight of 15KG's

1.5cm from the top you cut off 4 pieces from the sides at a 110' angle.

How much does the ingot weigh and how much percentage was removed from it's overall weight?

What sort of equation we looking at here??

when I picture that ingot I think of how a gold bar looks

You get different sizes and shapes for ingots.

It's not really important,i'm trying to make a mold for a 15kg copper ingot thats in the shape of a gold bar (they usually come in flat ingots)

To me how I see it is you're shaving off about 9cm worth of the bar which unless I'm wrong it works out to be 3.375kg and at 22.5% loss.

This is how I got that but I could be wrong:

Length + Width + Depth = 40cm total

15kg / 40cm = 0.375g per 1cm

1.5cm * 4 = 9cm total cut at 110 degrees

0.375g * 9cm = 3.375kg taken

3.375kg * 100 / 15kg = 22.5%

I dunno...
