Superbru - Currie Cup and Rugby Championship 2013

It seems that there were 4 among us who were optimistic (or is that pessimism???) to opt for an Aussie *spits* win :D
 
The Bulls won 26 - 10 :'(

The Sharks went to sleep and lost 25 -19

All joy I experienced in the thrashing of the Aussies...

...was tempered by these two games.

And this also punished me in SuperBru too. :(
 
I'm so proud of the Springbokke. They played really well on Saturday and now I can't wait for next Saturday's game against the All Blacks.

It's a damn shame that I got the prediction wrong though! :)
 
So Rugby this weekend had it's ups and downs:

The Boks played like men possessed and gave the Aussies a good royal hiding, but to be honest the Aussies are nowhere near the side they've always been. They are really poor (which brings me great joy)

The Sharks disappointed me, but luckily I didn't watch the game, thank goodness.

The Bulls came back strong after convincing the country the past few weeks that they are crap.

And as for Superbru, well I neither went up, or down on the log, poised for the deathly strike near the end of the season that I'm planning.
 
Remember to make your picks everyone! For the first time in quite a while it feels like the Springboks may be able to win in New Zealand!
 
Agreed. Just been so difficult to make my picks both in Currie Cup and Rugby Championship. Eish!
 
The WP game really lifted my spirits after that dismal game the morning.

Playing 14 vs 15 and still winning easily was great.
 
Heads up to start considering you Currie Cup picks for the weekend. Being almost dead last I'm not giving out any advice on how to choose the winning teams :D:p
