Whats the bestest game that you've ever played?

this whole thread passed me by thanks to a lame topic, but when i saw the amount of posts being aimed its way i investigated further. i had a proper chuckle at a few forum members' expense.

Same here. I had a good laugh and read it all from start to end. That still doesn't make it a good thread though.
Funny how certain people only post when they want to win something. I've noticed that now that there isn't a console on the line the general activity is much lower on the forum.

Haven't played as many games as most people, but I would have to say, FFX, beyond good and evil, Oblivion, Fable, Jack 3, machinarium, SSX3, Half life 1 and 2. Will be playing newer games when I buy my PS3.

don't know what a necro post is. Yes it was a lovely game, when it was given to me by my brother he told me it was 'difficult' but I finished it with ease.
 
I don't know what response I'll get for this, but here goes...

Monkey Island 2
(the whole franchise is brilliant, but 2 stood out for me the most, I still play it!!!) :D

Necro-post is when you post in a thread that hasn't seen any activity in a long time, it's generally frowned upon, unless you have something really important or interesting to add to the conversation.

People love hating on it, but WoW with all its flaws was nothing short of an awe-inspiring journey for most of us. To hell with the graphics, or the quests or the raids or the gear. It built friendships. Sold, everlasting friendships.

I haven't played wow in over 2 years and I'm still in constant contact with friends overseas whom I met through the game - what other game's graphics / storyline bests that?

This is what kept me going from Beta until the end of Cataclysm.

I wouldn't worry too much, if you didn't necro it, you'd have people moaning at you for not using the search function :D

I have an unopened copy of Cataclysm on my desk. Never bothered adding the code to my account. The game got better, the community didnt, so I left.

I'll go back - but my life needs balance. When I went through a big breakup and serious depression / work dissonance I exchanged my wow dailies for gym dailies and dropped 16kg in 4 months.
