Wow. Its such a pity you had to download the dlc files.

I still enjoy Battlefield 3. I tend to find myself playing on international servers, cause I can choose the maps that I want to play. (I'm so tired of Operation Metro)
However ping is a major issue, I wish more South African's choose to play the alternative maps, and game modes like rush....

On console we play with this all the time. Such a disadvantage.

I'm in agreement there, I make a backup of my Origin Games folder for when I need to format or something like that.

I had to do a 2.5+GB download last night. Here's the interesting part though.
Even after having done that DL, my folder was 26.3GBs in size. It's still 26.3GBs in size!
Anyway, now Battlelog is down and Origin is having 'logging in' issues -- really?!

The AUG is really an awesome gun, and so controllable.Enjoying Bf 3 again after a long hiatus. Loving the AUG A3my new favourite weapon.
I'm busy running through all the weapons trying to master (500kills) them all. KD takes a bit of a hit but I'll eventually get there.

My K/D is nothing exceptional either. Trying to finish the Assignment to unlock the Scar-L now. I've been told that that's also lethal.
Yes, The AUG A3 is very well-controlled - even in bursts, there is so little spread it quite impressive. It is a little slow-firing, but if you can master it, it's pretty lethal in most situations.

Yeah, I've been kicked repeatedly in the past from that server too, with all different reasons from making space for VIP to hacking!

A little tip to my fellow Battlefield[ers].
If you're having trouble mounting an object [a box, crate or anything or this height] - aim down your sights, then try jumping again.
More often than not do I find myself able to mount the object, plus I'm ready to shoot any oncoming enemies as well.

Wait till you get the PKP,it rips people a new one on Metro.Just tap fire when suppressed and it will ignore suppression to medium range.

Haha, the PKP was the first one I did!! Got me hooked. Do you mean it is glitched or something coz it was ridiculously easy?

Yep,it suffers less from suppression compared to other LMG's.The M16A3 had the same problem but it was fixed after people started getting suspicious.
I think there is also a sniper rifle that has the same glitch but it's not really noticeable.
