Corsair 750d in RSA...

Greetings,

I am in the process of building a new pc, and have had my eye on this, Corsair 750d case for a while now.

Does anyone have any idea when this will be available locally? I've been keeping an eye on Rebeltech/Wootware/Landmark/Phoenixtech but none are listing it yet.

I was thinking of combining the Corsair 750d with an H100i cooler and some 120mm case fans.
My alternate was a Corsair 540 Carbide Air case.

@Joker Don't suppose you would be willing / interested in making a deal for me on something like this? or something similarly stylish / minimalistic?

Thanks for anyone reading and replying

Hey dude

For sure :) Love helping out when and where I can.
Will get some details for you in the morning.

Right now Corsair's making some really fantastic chassis.
Personally I am a big fan of the 350D and the 540 Air. 750D looks amazing as well, although I haven't had the pleasure working with it yet.

There is a new case from Coolermaster called The Coolermaster Cosmos SE that you could look at

For something different you could look at the Antec P280

Hi Joker

Thanks so much -- appreciate it.

I was originally planning on going for the 350d but due to some over zealous cud I ended up with the following:

4770k ultracooled by vivi
EVGA GTX 770 4gb (eish this card is LONG)
Asrock Z87 OC

Unfortunately my current ram is a bit bleh, Adata XPG2 2x 4gb 2800mhz, but that was sort of included in my CUD deal.

Ideally I would like to sell the Adata, and instead get some G.Skill or Corsair 2400mhz CL9/10 ram. But so far no luck.

Will have a look at the cases you suggested in the meantime, and once again thanks for the time and effort

Always welcome.

That would be a sick setup, really love that board <3
As for the ram, they are killer for overclocking and benching but I know what you mean, with ram its quantity over speed really.
If you really wanna change the ram, look at getting G.Skill Trident X DDRIII 2400 kits or something along those lines, just remember Corsair ram is seriously overpriced and in my book not nearly as good as G.Skill

Other than that your setup looks awesome.

Sorry for the slow replies - working my butt off, but I suppose its good, since its the source of my CUD funds

Anyways, I must say that Cosmos SE is growing on me, looks really decent. So its a run between the 540 Carbide Air, the 750d and the SE. I'm a little worried about my graphics card not fitting in the SE? its really quite long.

Looking forward to seeing what you can arrange for me
Case & fans & h100i and so on =-)

Lastly: By some luck, seems I get to choose between the Asrock Z87 OC formula and a Gigabyte z87x-oc force. Which one would you pick and why? Regards Gox

Ok well Corsair doesn't even have stock of the 750D yet :(
Will keep tabs on it and see as soon as it becomes available bud.

As far as gpu length goes, the CM Cosmos SE will take a 395mm GPU without the HDD Cage installed.
Will let you know about availability of this chassis.

I am not a fan of Gigabyte products, never have been.
So I would stick to the ASRock, alternatively you could sell both and wait for the new Rampage Black board :D

lol Ignore the previous msg I just remembered you were going haswell and not Ivy E XD

I actually wanted to go Ivy, was eyeing a X79 Dark board from EVGA, but managed to get a 4770k for R3k and yes well.

Thing is, which CPU would you match with the ivy to match performance of a 4770k?

Id happily sell both and get a nice ivy board if I had a decent cpu to put in it =-)
