Rumor - GTA V coming to PC 22 November

That would make sense to release it just before christmas if they want to kick up those sales figures.

I don't think it will look very good on PC unless they have done some serious texture work.

It's amazing on current-gen consoles, mostly because they are ancient and Rockstar managed to produce a great looking game on the archaic hardware. Lots of little tricks are used to conceal draw distances and level of detail.

Unless they have had a PC version up their sleeve all along through the development cycle, the game needs a serious overhaul to satisfy PC gamers, IMO.

Errr....Yeah textures, Tjo textures can take some serious Storage when increased from 512x512 to 1024x1024.. If they released it on PC expect maybe a 15 - 20 % increase in total amount of storage needed. (Note to self buy only Hardcopy if released on PC, no way going to download it)

I agree it looks amazing on Gen 3 console, however its really bad, poor frame rates, Random objects appearing out of nowhere (due to the Draw distance magic) at times it even freezes for a few seconds, times I have got stuck in character animations with no fix but to restart the PS3, even stutters when Autosaving. TBH all these problems wouldn't be problems on PC due to the amount of available resources.

This can only be answered once it's released on Xbox 1 or PS4.

if they release it for pc this quickly it will probably be a direct port like what namco did with darksouls, GTA IV took almost 8 months before it came to pc and it was crap until they eventually patched it, i have a feeling the same will happen with 5 :(

Didn't some hackers find code relating to the pc version already? I'm sure they did build it with pc's in mind, and with the advances of the pc, it would really show up the console version- hence the later release date. Not to mention all those sour console people going out and buying it again on their pc when they see how much better it is.

Like the previous titles, we will get GTA5, but we're gonna have to wait a couple of months. I for one don't think It will come out as soon as November, I'm guessing more 2nd Quarter 2014.

No way they'll release a PC version before the console version has made its money.

Also, it would make more sense to release the next-gen console version first to capitalize on the PS4/Xbone launches.

Couldn't agree with you more!

They will try to milk the current gen consoles as long as possible and focus mainly on their Online version. As much as I'd like to see it on my PC (which I'll probably purchase), I'm happy with it on my 360 at the moment.
