The old tutorials were WAY more in-depth than these are. I quite enjoyed them, but I guess people got frustrated sitting through them. Definitely more helpful to utter newbies, but alas, they're gone.

Are there any local Corps. I am in a corp now... but the guys are not really that helpful... I would rather enjoy a local flavour
 
Gumpie i created my own corp as an experiment. Its not huge or anything, only me in it :( so far. Ronin Inc. Its called. Whats your flavour? i.e. what do u do, mine trade or just blow shit up?
 
I don't know what to do.

My original account has 2 characters, 1 with 2.1mil sp and the other 800k skill points, but they have very little cash. About 1mil between them.

My new account has around 200k sp but 12mil in cash.

The original account by far! 11 million in cash is very easy to make up for...all that time spent training you can't, on the other hand.
 
You can get them here from what I know. I think Take 2 sells them :) Sure many other places do too.
 
Lot's of my friends play Eve Online, along with teamspeak and such.
I'm just not a fan of on-line gaming that's all :(
But i'm sure i'll turn "Renegade" soon :P

I decided to go with the new account. Even with the loss of skill points. I just like the new character more and I'm over half way through the epic mission arc with it and cba to start that again.

Ran a 'challenging' level 2 on Sunday night...Both me and my friend struggled in the second pocket. I then tried passive shield tanking - Wow its scary (read nerve wracking) watching your shields get slaughtered till 35% then it doesn't go down. I'm sitting on 27.6k ehp without my invulnerability field active

after recounting my former EVE glories to mates at work I decided that after a two year hiatus thats its time to get started again. Lydon, I think we both started when we were still playing PES and chatting on the Xbox360 forums so good to catchup again mate.

Any decent corps with lots of SA players?

I know OC is in a corp not sure if its SA or not. I started my own corp, so if u guyz are keen maybe we could bolster Ronin Inc's Ranks. Bewarned though my long term is PVP mostly Mercenary work and Pirate Hunting.

I'm not too sure myself either... Most of the corpmates who are online in the evenings converse in afrikaans... i'll get more details :cool:

Theres an SA channel - RSACHAT01, try asking there about local corps
