Image of the Day Mk II

hehehe, seriously tho, she is awesome. Doesnt mind me playing games or going to a LAN.

Someone told me a while back that his girlfriend from years back told him to decide between his PC and and her. He was really into PC's, both programming and gaming. He told her it was going to be rough, but it was nice knowing her.

They have been married for 30 odd years now. You can't change a gamer, for him/her to leave their enjoyment.

Plus my wife enjoys playing on the XBox 360 as well!

that is good to hear, i'm lucky like that as well, my wife enjoys playing some games on steam, and even plays a bit of CoD:World at War / CoD BO2 with me on the ps3 (mainly killing zombies)

and to keep with the thread

Dammit dude!!! Well done. One day when I grow up I want to be artistic as well

Thanks, you're older then me though :D

It's really not that hard to learn, the fun thing about learning Blender for 4 years is that i can follow most tutorials just just by looking at the finished result and then just listening for instructions. When i started i paused and re-winded videos constantly just to see what button the guy in the tutorial pressed or by how man blocks he dragged a vertice.

Learning the system is not the problem. I've played around with some editor software before, but you still need a buttload of artistic skills to actually "see" the end result you work to. I can create a beautiful cube and that's about it. :(

What software have you used?,the learning process of most software is painstakingly long but once you're over it it's smooth sailing.

following tutorials is a great way to get results while also learning new things in the process, the problem is pacing yourself in what tutorials you can do and which you can't (usually there are allot of people complaining in car modeling tutorials because of the amount of topology work required,i have many failed attempts at modeling a car)

Why not take something as reference and then try modeling it?,it can be something as simple as a keyring or cellphone.
